Since sharing ThriveNow, we’ve been overwhelmed by the incredible people who have reached out—many of whom will be reading this today. Your stories, your struggles, your hopes for the future have deeply moved me and your integrity and strength in these lived experiences is truly inspiring. I am looking forward to deepening these connections further with you in the future.

These stories are not just anecdotes; they are real lived experiences. Whether a young person navigating an overwhelming system, a parent desperately wanting better for a child, or a teacher working tirelessly against the tide, your voices fuel our determination at ThriveNow.

What You’ve Asked for and how ThriveNow Responds  

In my conversations on LinkedIn and face to face, I’ve asked two key questions:  

1. What do you wish the education system offered but doesn’t?  

2. What do you need to know about ThriveNow to feel part of this movement? 

The answers have been clear:  

• You want an education system centred on wellbeing, transferable and relevant skills and knowledge, and where children and teachers are supported to thrive.  

• You also want practical solutions, not just ideals.

At ThriveNow, we’re working to meet these needs through three tangible actions:  

1. Active Listening: We are creating spaces to hear from you—teachers, students, parents, and communities—so the ThriveNow offering reflects real needs.  

2. Open-Source Resources, blueprints and ‘assets’ for schools: Whether you're engaging in education as a teacher/leader, learner, or both, you’ll have open-sourced access to innovative teaching and learning methods to start making change where you are.  

3. A Physical School: We’re building a flagship secondary school in Kingston Upon Thames—a living, breathing example of the transformation we’re advocating for, linking to Universities for evidence-based practice and measurable outcomes. With wellbeing and inclusion at its core, this school will be a proof of concept for a better way forward.
