Evolving together: a new rhythm for ThriveNow updates
Bite-sized bi-weekly highlights & deep dives into transformative education
Dear ThriveNow community,
We’re evolving our newsletters to better serve you. While they’ll still arrive every Sunday (we know you love your morning ThriveNow fix), we’re introducing a new bi-weekly rhythm.
One week, we’ll share a short ‘Highlights of the week’, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the unfolding journey of building our school, hub, and community. The following week, we’ll take a more reflective approach—exploring broader educational themes and offering thought-provoking prompts to inspire dialogue and action.
This week’s update is all about highlights—here’s what’s been happening behind the scenes.
1. Growing partnerships & communities
We’ve been connecting with local education communities, forest schools, and innovative projects supporting young people both inside and outside of mainstream education. A huge thank you to Forest Schooling UK, and especially Stephen and Sam, for their incredible care, integrity, and openness in exploring collaborations. We’re also in early conversations with several others, which we hope to share over the coming weeks. We look forward to strengthening our relationships with these communities so we can thrive together.
A special thank you to Emily Steinthal for volunteering to set up our Instagram account.
If you'd like to get involved—whether in social media, Webflow website building, or behind-the-scenes support—please reach out. We’d love to welcome you into the ThriveNow family.
2. Have your say: parent questionnaire
Your voice matters. We’ve developed our parent questionnaire, which is ready for pilot testing. If you're interested in shaping the future of our secondary school and helping refine our approach, we’d love your feedback.
📩 Email me at kimberley@thrive-now.org to receive the pilot questionnaire.
Your answers will directly shape how we grow ThriveNow and support our partner organisations. Once finalised, we’ll share the official questionnaire far and wide—so please keep an eye out.
3. ‘In service’ webinars & courses
While our hub is being built, we’re launching a series of free or pay-as-you-wish webinars and short courses to support educators, parents, and young people right now.
Whether you're looking for practical tools, community connection, or inspiration, these sessions are designed to nourish and empower you.
If you are a:
Teacher wanting to explore enquiry-led learning
Parent looking for ways to support your child/young learner’s education
Student keen to learn about digital literacy, AI, sustainability, leadership, entrepreneurship, or other future-focused topics
📩 Email me at kimberley@thrive-now.org—we can tailor webinars to meet your specific needs!
4. What’s next
🚀 Website development is ongoing—no small feat for a team of educators, not web designers. If you’re a Webflow expert or a social media strategist, we’d love your help.
🎤 TEDx Talk incoming: I’ve been invited to give a TEDx Talk—more details coming soon.
Thank you for walking this journey with us. Community is at the heart of everything we’re building—together, we’re creating something truly special.
With love and gratitude,
Kimberley & the ThriveNow team
